Heather & Gregg, The Hotel Marlowe

Heather and Gregg were one of the most genuine couples I had the pleasure to film!
They were married in The Hotel Marlowe located in Cambridge, MA!

Their ceremony was officiated by a good friend of theirs and they wanted to make sure to incorporate some Jewish traditions, especially the "breaking of the glass." What I was MOST impressed with, though, was the sincerity of their vows to each other. In the full version, you can hear Gregg promise to "make your favorite dinners," how totally genuine can you get? ( I wish my husband had promised that to me! HA!)

In this highlight piece, you may not catch that portion of their vows, but you will hear the importance of the wedding video. So many people at Gregg and Heather's wedding said soo many thoughtful things, it is precious to have a memory like this, for now and for the future!
Enjoy!

"We Love Block Island..."

... is the phrase you would hear spontaneously throughout Amanda & Ed's wedding day! The DJ voted their wedding his all time favorite of the year!

A beautiful day, wonderful friends and family and just the perfect spot, The Spring House on Block Island! John Fuller was their photographer and I am sure he got some fabulous shots throughout the day!

Amanda and Ed been waiting patiently for the full length production and it's on it's way! In the meantime, here is the highlight reel! Enjoy!

Not Just Weddings...

OMG -
Can I please tell you how cool my job is??

About 2 years ago, Amber and Rob came to me for a simple photo montage of their childhood and dating images to make a slideshow DVD for them to play at their wedding. Well, at this time, I had been introduced to the Same-Day-Edit (I call it the Instant Film) and I asked Amber and Rob to let me "experiment" on them to see if I could pull it off... Well, we did it - and it not only got an overwhelming response both for Amber and Rob at the wedding, but for thier guests as well. ( Amber told me that friends and family are STILL talking about it .. here is an archived link if you want to peek at my first "eva" Instant Film - http://www.myepvideo.com/fle/1292006.htm Needless to say, Amber and Rob believed in me and WFD to pull of the most incredible film to hit a wedding! And, now that I have had a taste for the Instant Film, that is really all I would like to do!

I digress, my point of this post is to let you all know that at WFD, we are here for the long run, and one of my favorite parts of my incredible job is that I get to connect with your family in such a meaningful way.

Amber and Rob have been married for over 2 years now, and they came to me recently to pull together the images of the 40 year marriage of Amber's Mom and Dad. They are having a fabulous celebration on May 17th ( shh- dont tell - it's a secret!)

Here is the Digital Scrapbook they will be showing on the Projection Screen on Saturday! Enjoy!

Digital Scrapbook DVD's are great for anniversaries, graduations and to showcase at your wedding... just don't forget to add the Instant Film to your wedding DVD for a phenomenal presentation!

Angela & Ryan - Highlights

When I called Angela to let her know her film was near completion, I asked her how she was... she said "Awesome, I am soo completely happy, life couldn't be better!" How great is that - she made my day! Married to the nicest guy - and both so happy to just be together!

Here is Angela & Ryan's highlight reel from their wedding day...

Budget Tip of the Week: The Candy Station!

YUMMY! That is the best adjective to describe this! A Candy Station can be fun and sophisticated and save you so much over the drowned out "Chocolate Fountain."

Your guests will enjoy the wafting sweetness of your Candy Buffet and you have so many choices.

From Easy: Get some cute jars and containers ( my fav place - The Christmas Tree Shop - find one near you! ) and fill it with your favorite candies! I love the Kittery Outlets in Maine - and if you haven't discovered Yummies! yet - you have to visit over the summer.

To Sophisticated: Go all out! Match your invitations to your favor boxes and name tags
for guests to fill and munch. Find your candy colors to match at Candy Favorites! Even find the perfect scoops at Scoops-scoops!
